SETA, the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research, is honoured to invite you to the presentation of our “European Islamophobia Report 2015” which will take place in Ankara on 21 March 2016, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
The European Islamophobia Report is an annual report, which will be presented first time in 2016. It currently consists out of 25 national reports on the state and tendencies of Islamophobia in various European country. 37 prominent scholars from various European countries have worked on this report.
The meeting will offer a forum where we can explore challenges, share examples of good practices and make recommendations with regard to combating hate crimes and discrimination against Muslims, addressing discrimination against Muslim people in education and employment and countering anti-Muslim stereotypes.
The objective of SETA is to produce up-to-date and accurate knowledge and analyses in the fields of politics, economy and society and inform policy makers and the public on changing political, economic, social and cultural conditions.
